Fischer Söhne AG in the promotion program of the Aargauische Kantonalbank!
Last week, the closing event of the sustainability promotion program of the Aargauische Kantonalbank (AKB) and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland took place. The program aimed to accompany and support companies in their sustainability efforts.
As part of the program, we have learned a lot over the past six months and further developed our sustainability strategy. We are grateful for the support of our experts who have accompanied and advised us along the way.
Some examples of our progress include the use of "in-process recyclate" in canister production. Here we grind the slugs from the canister and reuse the recovered material in the production. In addition, we are in the process of equipping all areas of our buildings with LEDs, and we have already converted most of them. With our voluntary participation in the program of the Energy Agency for Industry, we are committed to actively reducing CO2 emissions and optimizing energy efficiency.
We are aware that sustainability is an ongoing process and that the plastics industry in particular cannot do without it. We will continue to strive to reduce our environmental impact and act in a socially responsible manner.
We would also like to thank the Aargauische Kantonalbank and the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, who initiated and implemented the program. We benefited from regular exchanges of experience with other participants.
Overall, the program was a valuable experience for us and we will continue our commitment to sustainability. We are confident that our efforts will have a positive impact on the environment and society.
