Rooted in Switzerland, internationally active - Fischer Söhne is an innovative supplier of extrusion blow molding and injection molding solutions for demanding customers from various markets.
Innovative
From the first simple tin cans to highly sophisticated life sciences products produced in ISO7 / GMP C class cleanrooms - Fischer Söhne has shaped the packaging industry over the past decades with innovative ideas and solutions. Today, the company is one of the most important Swiss producers of extrusion blow molding solutions for canisters and technical parts. The packaging solutions for medical syringes sold by Fischer Söhne - so-called tubs and nests - are also in demand far beyond the country's borders.
Visionary
When Alois Fischer signed the founding documents of A. Fischer & Söhne in 1923, the words "Blechwarenfabrik" instead of "One-Stop-Shop" were written in black letters - and "Emballage" instead of "Packaging". In Dietikon, which was still very rural at the time, the entrepreneur installed a welding plant and started producing "tin packaging for every purpose". Later, packaging solutions made of paper and cardboard for foodstuffs followed. Many hours of work, a few moves and a hundred years later, Fischer Söhne AG, now based in Muri in the canton of Aargau, enjoys a reputation as one of Switzerland's leading companies for extrusion blow molding and injection molding solutions. The company also supplies medical packaging solutions as far afield as the USA.
Adaptable
From tin cans to cardboard kettles to life sciences product packaging manufactured in clean rooms, the company has succeeded where many have failed: adapting to the changing needs of the market.
